For best results use a heat gun and a 1 DIY roller, simply heat up the tape with the heat gun and apply and roll down, leave for a minute or two and you should have achieved a permanent application. If you have an area to repair that is reasonably flat an ordinary household iron can be used, The best results for applications are with a hot air gun, however good results can be achieved with an iron if the repair area is reasonably flat.
